I was at an event and a professional athlete was the guest speaker. He was talking about his life, his good times and bad times. He went on to talk about the addictions he has been struggling with for many years. As he was giving his testimony, I looked at my Believe Band that said "Pray without Ceasing". I knew in my heart that I had to give this ring to him. I didn't even know him, but I knew I had to make my way to him after his talk to give him my ring. It was the perfect verse for him, to know to keep praying through these trials in his life and to know God is with him. Well, I made my way to him, I introduced myself to him and gave him my ring, I suggested to put the ring on a chain and wear around your neck, I just wanted you to know that God is with you all the time and he will give you the strength you need! I received my Believe Band from a Sales Representative that called on my office. She game me the ring when I was diagnosed with bladder cancer. I just got out of the hospital when my friend gave me the most meaningful gift I have ever received, a Believe Band that read "He Leads me and Restores my Soul". I was in the airport, on my way to a business trip when I noticed a Serviceman saying goodbye to his family, for he was obviously going off to war to serve our country. While I looked at the family I felt at tug at my heart to give him my Believe Band. I knew that by wearing the ring as a sign that he would know that God is with him all the time! Although, it was a bit uncomfortable approaching people I didn't know, or didn't even know if the Believed in God for that matter, I knew God wanted me to do this.
